
The McCoy Hunting Ranch is centrally located in the beautiful state of Minnesota and operated by the McCoy Brothers.
Set on 1500 acres of woods, hills, swamps and flowing streams in Central Minnesota, our ranch offers different sized hunting areas to meet all skill levels.
The McCoy Hunting Ranch boosts more than 400 Elk, Whitetail and Bison. The Ranch is located two hours northwest of the Twin Cities, 17 miles west of Little Falls and 7 miles east of Long Prairie.

The McCoy Families, have been involved in elk ranching since 1989. The McCoy's started their first elk ranching in Longmont, Colorado before moving to Long Prairie, Minnesota where they are ranching now.
The McCoy brothers, Tom, Jack and Phil grew up on a farm in Colorado working with animals, and operating the farm for many years. The expertise that the brothers have is evident by the large magnificent showcase heard of animals they have and the working knowledge they all share of ranch operations and management.
Tom, Phil and Jack appreciate the natural beauty and splendor that surround them.
In 2000, they began exploring ways to share their ranch and love of nature with others. They opened the McCoy Elk Ranch to the public in 2001 for elk tours. Tour groups, school groups and many families have come to Minnesota and taken advantage of all the ranch has to offer.
Jack McCoy is also involved in ranching near the elk ranch and operates a summer horse camp for kids and adults from around the world, along with managing a large herd of buffalo and horses in Long Prairie, Minnesota.
